Immanent Reasoning or Equality in Action A Dialogical Study.Shahid Rahman, Nicolas Clerbout, Ansten Klev, Zoe Conaughey & Juan Redmond - unknown
PREFACEProf. Göran Sundholm of Leiden University inspired the group of Logic at Lille and Valparaíso to start a fundamental review of the dialogical conception of logic by linking it to constructive type logic. One of Sundholm's insights was that inference can be seen as involving an implicit interlocutor. This led to several investigations aimed at exploring the consequences of joining winning strategies to the proof-theoretical conception of meaning. The leading idea is, roughly, that while introduction rules lay down the conditions (...)

Problem Background: Design is that complete process of planning and creating a form in a functionally satisfying way, bringing pleasure to the soul, and satisfying human need utilitarianly and aesthetically at the same time. A Mixed Integer Linear Formulation and a Grouping League Championship Algorithm for a Multiperiod-Multitrip Order Picking System with Product Replenishment to Minimize Total Tardiness.Morteza Farhadi Sartangi, Ali Husseinzadeh Kashan, Hassan Haleh & Abolfazl Kazemi - 2022 - Complexity 2022:1-24.
Order picking, which is collecting a set of products from different locations in a warehouse, has repeatedly been described as one of the most laborious and time-consuming internal logistic processes. Each order is issued to pick some products located at given locations in the warehouse. In this paper, we consider an order picking problem, in which a number of orders with different delivery due dates are going to be retrieved by a limited number of order pickers in multiperiods such that (...)

E-MIIM: an ensemble-learning-based context-aware mobile telephony model for intelligent interruption management.Iqbal H. Sarker, A. S. M. Kayes, Md Hasan Furhad, Mohammad Mainul Islam & Md Shohidul Islam - 2020 - AI and Society 35 (2):459-467.
Nowadays, mobile telephony interruptions in our daily life activities are common because of the inappropriate ringing notifications of incoming phone calls in different contexts. Such interruptions may impact on the work attention not only for the mobile phone owners, but also for the surrounding people. Decision tree is the most popular machine-learning classification technique that is used in existing context-aware mobile intelligent interruption management model to overcome such issues. However, a single-decision tree-based context-aware model may cause over-fitting problem and thus (...)

Addressing Unmet Social Needs and Social Risks — A Qualitative Interview-Based Assessment of Parent Reported Outcomes and Impact from a Medical Legal Partnership.Erin Talati Paquette, Jennifer Kusma Saper, Hassan Khan, Sasha Becker, Zecilly Guzman, Valerie Alvarez Renteria, Sarah Hess & Karen Sheehan - 2024 - Journal of Law, Medicine and Ethics 52 (1):136-147.
Medical legal partnerships address individual legal needs that can create impediments to health. Little is known about outcomes from medical legal partnerships and their relationship to access to justice. This paper reports outcomes from one medical legal partnership from the perspective of the client, with specific emphasis on impact on health and concepts related to access to justice. We suggest a conceptual model for incorporating medical legal partnerships into a broader framework about access to justice.

The Efficacy and Safety of Pembrolizumab in Advanced Melanoma: A Meta-Analysis Study.Abdulaziz Khalid Albarti, Hamoud Abdulrahman Alateeq, Khalid Abdullah Shaker, Mohd Faiyaz Khan, Sadaf Farooqui, Abdulrahman Alelowi, Khalid Massad Saud Alharbi, Abdulsalam Hassan Abu Sulauman, Sharea Thawab Alqahtani, Mansour Mohammed Yahya Alrashdi & Saleh Turki Hamad Alothman - forthcoming - Evolutionary Studies in Imaginative Culture:2044-2057.
Background: Pembrolizumab, an inhibitory anti-PD-1 antibody, has led to significantly meaningful improvements in advanced melanoma. This meta-analysis discusses and presents the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab versus control treatments in randomized controlled trials. Methods: Electronic databases were searched systematically for RCTs using pembrolizumab in advanced melanomas. Pooled estimates were calculated under random-effect models for overall response rates, PFS, OS, and TRAEs. Results: Nine RCTs including 5132 patients were analyzed. Pembrolizumab significantly realized better results in ORR, PFS and OS HR 0.62, (...)
